This is another movie franchise that I was unaware that there was a sequel in the making. The Secret Life of Pets 2 will see the return of writer Brian Lynch (Minions) and once again be directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me series, Dr. Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy will produce the sequel to the comedy that had the best opening ever for an original film, animated or otherwise. I have already posted about a few of them (Aladin, Dumbo, Lion King, Star Wars…). Thankfully, there are plenty of movies on the horizon that I am super excited to see. I’m disappointed that there were no movies playing that we were interested in, but I’m glad we had the chance to see Michael Kosta. He had me and my husband in tears because we were laughing so hard. If you ever have a chance to see him live, I would recommend it. Sadly, there ere really no movies in the theater that struck our fancy, so we ended up going to the comedy club. We had planned on going to dinner, a movie and spend the night at a hotel, just to get away for a bit.
This October we will also celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. People didn’t think our marriage would last after only knowing each other for eight months, but we proved them wrong. That might sound silly to some people, but it means a lot to us.
This weekend my husband and I celebrated the 23rd anniversary of our first date. Most of the time we get dinner and a see a movie. My husband and I try to go on as many “date nights” as possible.
